Very safe area. There are a couple of excellent hotels on Monroe that are a 2 block walk to Millennium Park. I love the Hampton Inn next to the theater at the intersection with Dearborn. There are 9 rooms on each floor and it is very quiet. The blue line from O'Hare airport stops 1/2 block from the hotel. Plus the hotel offers a full breakfast every day. Where is the best place to park in the area. Our first trip to Chicago for the day.
