LIMA, Nov. 14 (Yonhap) -- President Yoon Suk Yeol will hold a summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in Peru on Friday, the presidential office said Thursday (local time). It will be their second summit since their first meeting in Indonesia in November 2022.

President Yoon Suk Yeol arrived in Peru on Thursday to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit and meet world leaders to discuss security and economic issues. On Friday, Yoon will deliver a keynote speech as South Korea prepares to host next year's APEC summit and join the main session and CEO summit.

President Yoon Suk Yeol from Nov. 14-21 will go on an eight-day South American tour to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit in Peru and the Group of 20 Summit in Brazil.
